Biography

Hello, I am an assitant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, where I led the Data-Centric Iintelligence Lab. I received the Ph.D. degree in the Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech under the supervison of Prof. Ran Jin.

My research focuses on creating a data quality assurance paradigm to enable effetcive AI modeling perofmance in Manufacturing Industrial Internet. Data generation, data acquisition, data valuation, and data sharing methods have been investigated for AI models with applications in additive manufacturing, bio-manufacturing, semiconducting, and IoT infrastructure design, where statistical and machine learning models as well as optimization methods are heavily used.

# I also conducted research projects in interpretable machine learning methods, predictive modeling with statistical models, and supply chain optimization by applied operations research.
